Liopetri has a variety of shops, banks, post office, pharmacies, and traditional Travernas. The resorts and beaches of Ayia Napa & Protaras are only a short drive away and offer all the facilities you would expect from large resorts. The town of Paralimni is also close by with a larger selection of shops and supermarkets. Liopetri is home to two churches of interest; the medieval church of Panagia with its octagonal dome and in the apse there can still be seen some remnants of its murals. It is understood to been built around the 15th century. The remains of a Venetian watchtower and the beautiful natural fishing shelter at Potamos are a couple of minutes drive from the apartments. Potamos Liopetriou is a photogenic inlet and is where the local fishermen bring in their catch, and some say the best fish on the island.
